Tom Kiernan has been a leading figure in Irish and Lions rugby for over 40 years. In 1960 he made his international debut as a 21-year-old for Ireland against England and, two years later, toured South Africa with the Lions. The first Irishman to win 50 caps, he also led his country a record 24 times, and later became national coach and then president. |
