Career Summary |
Ieuan Evans was a fixture on the right wing for Wales for 11 years during which time he set new records for most caps, most tries and tests as captain. He was in charge when Wales won the newly-inaugurated Five Nations Trophy for the first time in 1994, played in three Rugby World Cup finals, and also was a triple British & Irish Lion on tours to New Zealand, South Africa and Australia. As well as scoring the winning try for Llanelli against the Wallabies, he gained a Heineken Cup winners’ medal with Bath.
